The way amateur cricket in Yorkshire is structured has changed to provide a clear path to the summit for any club in Yorkshire.

Steve Wales, Yorkshire Over 50s captain, reflects on representing Yorkshire, culminating in an outstanding 2015 season where the county won the ECB 50+ County Championship convincingly with a nine-wicket victory in the Final at Knibworth CC against Staffordshire.

Pudsey St Lawrence have claimed the JCT600 Bradford League title – the club’s first in twenty-four years – after they won at Cleakheaton by 66 runs.

A short walk from the railway station over the bridge is Skipton Cricket Club whose firsts were at home to Illingworth.
