***COMPETITION HAS CLOSED***
For March 2020, Cricket Yorkshire has teamed up with Opening Up Cricket to bring you a brilliant competition prize.
Does your cricket team or cricket club want to win a Club pack? We are offering five cricket clubs/teams a chance to win!
It’s a way to show your support for the important work they do with mental wellbeing and suicide prevention in cricket.
Each Club Pack contains:
- 12 x bat stickers
- 12 x wristbands
- T-shirt
- Posters
- Flyers
- Drinks mats
Cricket Yorkshire has proudly partnered Opening Up Cricket for a number of years and the goal with this competition is awareness.
Ideally, all five cricket clubs have their packs by the start of the season and send in photos with players showing off their bat stickers and wristbands.
It all helps spread the message to other players, clubs and leagues. You can also link up with Opening Up on Twitter or Opening Up on Facebook.

A subject very close to my heart, I struggled with my mental health for a long time, cricket helped me survive through it. My cousin took his own life last year, my family has been working with MIND since then to raise awareness of suicide prevention and mental health
Hi Rob, thanks for sharing that, glad to hear cricket has played a part in helping you cope. Best wishes, John.
Happy to see Opening Up continuing to spread the word and raise awareness.
Thanks Neil, it’s a great cause and hopefully cricket clubs and players enter to help spread the word. Be nice to see some more bat stickers out and about in 2020.
Cricket it something that I’ve loved since i was a child
Just arranging a session with Mark at St Chad’s Broomfield CC.
Good to hear Paul…Keep me posted and I might be able to come along.
Done, best of luck, let’s hope we see some cricket this season.
Thanks Brian and yes, fingers crossed. Might well see some disruption in the early stages in county and club cricket.
Followed Opening Up for a while. They do absolutely fantastic work, and I’ve been fortunate enough to attend their events.
As I suffer with poor mental health, this is a subject close to my heart.
Keep up the great work
Thanks for sharing James. Good to get your perspective on Opening Up Cricket.
Visited the Opening Up stand at the recent Lancashire CCC Expo 2020. Looking forward to arranging a visit to Stones CC
