Cricket Teamwear: Upgrade for the 2026 season

November 3, 2025 by John Fuller Leave a Comment

Cricket teamwear is an opportunity for your squad, section or whole club to train and play looking professional with the confidence that always brings.

In this feature with Bear Cricket, we share why they are a popular choice and what makes them stand out. Choosing cricket club teamwear is always exciting but it comes with the usual reasonable expectations around quality, price and consistency.

Cricket teamwear

Since 2016, Bear Cricket have become known for their superb English willow cricket bats that are grown in private forests here in West Yorkshire. They also do eye-catching softs and luggage from one of the world’s leading manufacturers.

But it is the Bear Cricket teamwear range that is really taking off. Word is getting out – and your club, when the time is right, could be next!

Incredible designs, quality garments and stellar service are what make Bear Cricket stand out. Their process is mapped out carefully to ensure every cricket club is well looked after and gets exactly what they need.

If you want custom cricket kit, there are loads of suppliers promising the earth but not all of them hit the mark when actually delivering. Poor quality garments, delays with getting club cricket shirts before the season, inconsistent sizing or badly stitched emblems and sponsor graphics.

The point of difference with Bear Cricket is rigorous testing of materials by players and coaches to make sure that the bar is set high. All items, whether club cricket playing shirts, cricket training tops or clothing for supporters look superb, showcase sponsors and give everyone a spring in their step.

OFFER: Enquire with Bear Cricket about your teamwear here and if your club goes ahead with an order by 31 Jan 2026, you will get £250 to spend against equipment.

Joining the Bear Pack

Cricket teamwear isn’t just about slapping a different logo on a polo because your sponsor has changed. It’s a sense of identity and pride in the shirt plus important income for the club.

Bear’s in-house design team and industry-leading machinery give them control over the whole process. That ensures the best possible experience from initial contact through to getting your new kit.

No waiting for a shipping container to get through the Suez Canal before the Bradford League season begins or nervously hoping that whatever brand the England team are wearing this year can filter its way down to your club in enough numbers and on time.

Whisper it quietly but ordering custom cricket teamwear for your club can be fun and stress-free. So, joining the ‘Bear Pack’ isn’t a marketing slogan and it begins with customer service.

Direct access when you need it

Volunteers at cricket clubs lead busy lives and are expert jugglers. Ordering teamwear is often done at lunch-times, evenings and weekends – so contacting Bear Cricket is refreshingly simple. They understand that you don’t want to wait a week for a reply to an email.

So, there’s direct access to Bear Cricket’s business owners, by phone, WhatsApp and (speedy) email. Adam and Steven will guide you through the process, all the way from initial contact, design concepts, club shop set up, through to order delivery.

Range & selection

Bear Cricket’s bespoke sublimated teamwear range is made to order in Yorkshire. It means they can offer bulk / pre-season requests as well as individual mid-season top-ups through online club shops. There have three choices:

Core – Permanent stock to allow orders to be sent out in 5-10 days, complete with sublimated Bear logo and club logo. Optional sponsors, names, number and initials.

Custom Colour – Made to order in 4-6 weeks, this is the Core Range but with the ability to have custom colours that match your club’s exact colours.

Bespoke – Total flexibility on colours and designs. Bear are happy to mock up some suggestions or they can work with your own ideas. Garments are made with ink sublimation so logos, names and other details are all included in one price.

Bear Cricket Teamwear: What Clubs Say

This is the second year that Cricket Yorkshire has partnered with Bear Cricket to nudge you all to consider their teamwear for your club. On my travels, I see their custom teamwear in matches all over Yorkshire. It looks as good as any clothing worn by county or international teams.

Importantly, clubs are more than happy to queue up to praise Bear Cricket without me prompting. Here are a few…

“We want to thank all at Bear Cricket for their professionalism and cooperation in our kit transition. The kit sizing nights were a big help for us all. The quality is fantastic, and you have done exactly what you said you would and when you would! Thank you.”

Carl Tetley, Skipton CC 1st XI Captain, Aire Wharfe League

“The kit is brilliant and the service you guys have offered us has been outstanding. The club shop looks great too and is so easy for players to use. We love the kit and would highly recommend to others.”

Liam Green, Clifton Alliance CC 1st XI Captain, ECB Premier League North

“Bear have supplied our junior cricket shirts for the last three seasons now. They have offered a great service from original designs, samples, and through to delivery and our teams definitely look the part.”

Ian Gatenby, Cleckheaton CC Chairman, Bradford Premier League

Clubs such as Illingworth St Mary’s, Ouseburn, Skipton, Stainland, Whitby, Harrogate, Clifton Alliance, Cleckheaton, Thornton and many others trust Bear Cricket to help them look the part.
