Come on a journey around Yorkshireβs club cricket grounds with my latest book, Dales, Bails and Cricket Club Tales.
Available on Kindle and in paperback via Amazon, these are the dramas, landscapes and matches from the 2022 and 2023 seasons, with my travels around the region to clubs, grounds and games of all standards.

John, In 2017 I compiled a history on Broughton and Kirby in the Langbaurgh West Rural League for the period 1929-1939.
If you would like a copy and you think it relevant to Yorkshire village cricket you are more than welcome.
Tim Wear
Hi Tim, well done for compiling the history, these things take time and dedication.
I tend not to do histories but imagine you’d find quite a difference in the game in the 100 years since.
Enjoy your village cricket wherever it takes you this season.
