In the first Cricket Yorkshire competition of the year, we’re delighted to team up with Cricket Scorecards to put you all in the mood for the 2021 season.
Do you want to capture your best performance with bat or ball? Maybe there’s a game where your team won the league or is special to your cricket club?

I stumbled across Cricket Scorecards on social media and thought it was a brilliant idea. Greg will take your scorecard from Play-Cricket or wherever and do an immaculate paper copy that is then printed and sent out.
My best performance with the ball was 8-85 back in the mists of time but a day that I remember vividly.
It was a stinking hot day in South-West London and I was handed the ball by my captain and told, ‘We’ve only got 3 bowlers so I need to you to bowl the whole innings.’
I have bowled miles better and got little or no reward (and much better economy rate) but on that day racking up 25 overs on the bounce, an extraordinary thing happened.
It wasn’t that I could barely bowl it on the stumps. That was sadly quite common. Instead, our team were absolutely unstoppable in the field, catching anything and everything.
By the end, I had shed about a stone and any semblance of pace had evaporated in the afternoon sun.
All of this I recalled in technicolour while marvelling at the colourful scorecard that came through the post from Greg at Cricket Scorecards. I had just sent a link to a Play-Cricket scorecard and he’d done the rest.
