Brews on the Boundary: Travels to Yorkshire’s cricket clubs is OUT!

June 29, 2026 by John Fuller 2 Comments

Brews on the Boundary: Travels to Yorkshire’s cricket clubs is my brand-new cricket book that was published on 8 June 2026.

This is an entertaining travelogue around Yorkshire’s cricket clubs from the 2024 & 2025 seasons with my adventures, conversations and observations.

👋 You can read an extract from the book here.

It’s a fun and easy read celebrating the grounds, teams and leagues, as I meet those volunteers – from groundskeepers to those who make the teas.

A signed, special edition hardback book was released first to those cricket fans who pre-ordered, with a paperback now available on Amazon. Brews on the Boundary will be stocked soon in UK bookshops too. I will be exploring events at cricket clubs this summer and hope to meet some of you out and about.

Get your copy of Brews on the Boundary on Amazon.

It is also stocked on the Waterstones website in paperback and hard cover.

📮 A note on delivery timings

If you buy from Amazon, it will be sent out in about 72 hours whereas Waterstones will be around 3 weeks. This is because the book is self-published and so in order to get to Waterstones, the book has to be printed, shipped to a distributor and then on to Waterstones customers.

(Amazon is printed by them directly and so can be posted out quickly. It depends how you want to buy and how quickly you’d like your copy.)

👍 Early feedback…

Thanks to those snapping up their copy, some got it for Father’s Day or a summer read to take on holiday. A few have dipped into its pages to grab a sneak peel and sent kind emails already.

Best wishes and I look forward to hearing what you think of my latest club cricket book.

Hi Sir Thomas, thanks for your comment on the website. The pre-orders window has closed to get your name in the book as we’ve just gone to print.
I’ll drop you an email around options. A few Nidderdale League grounds and matches included!
