It would not be an exaggeration to say that if you care about the game of cricket in any way, shape or form then completing the 2014 National Cricket Playing Survey can be your significant contribution to its future.

The Cricket History of Calderdale and Kirklees project began in 2004 when its founder and inspiration Peter Davies obtained a £43,000 grant from The Heritage Lottery Fund and other assistance from Huddersfield University.

We are about to attempt something radical on Cricket Yorkshire. We will take a subject, cricket insurance, that is ostensibly dull and dazzle you all with practical and ingenious considerations that will kickstart your day. We hope.
