Yorkshire’s Class of 2024: The Bowlers

October 7, 2024 by John Fuller 1 Comment

There have been many incredible individual performances across the 2024 cricket season. Using Play-Cricket data, we’ve put together this shortlist to highlight the leading match figures in Yorkshire.

👏 Top of the pile is Sam Potter’s scarcely believable 10 wickets for 1 run. I can’t confirm this but presumably it’s the best bowling performance in the country for good measure too.

Congratulations to all cricketers and clubs featured here.

As for Sam’s record-breaking feat, you can listen to our interview on the Cricket Yorkshire Podcast.

10 for 1. Remarkable. Hope the single run wasn’t off a misfield. Just 1 run away from the ultimate analysis. I want to know more about that one run.! Definitely an investigation required, leading to a future Cricket Yorkshire article..
Keep up the excellent work Mr. Fuller.
