The focus switches to cricket coaching in the recreational game on the latest Cricket Yorkshire Podcast episode.
My guest is Yusuf Karolia who is a Level 3 coach and also an ECB Developer who trains and mentors cricket coaches.
If that doesn’t keep him busy enough, Yusuf is also a Board member of the National Asian Cricket Council (NACC) whose aim is to support and promote cricket within the South Asian cricketing community.
If you’re interested in cricket coaching, Yusuf discusses his own background and how he found his way into coaching.
There’s also his work with Chance to Shine Street, the ECB’s coach bursary programme to offer financial help plus an MCC vs NACC fixture at Batley Cricket Club in July.
A fascinating half an hour in the company of an experienced cricket coach here in Yorkshire and well worth you tuning in.
