Yorkshire Club Day: England vs Sri Lanka

April 21, 2016 by John Fuller

Everyday we all get bombarded with marketing messages. Do this. Buy this. Think this.

The trouble with that, apart from being relentless and exhausting, is that you can miss the outstanding deals when they come along.

Yorkshire County Cricket Club are offering club cricketers from across the county the chance to enjoy a day of Test cricket with team mates for just £15 for an adult and £5 for a junior.

**This only applies to Day Four tickets for the First Investec Test Match between England and Sri Lanka on Sunday 22nd May.

7 REASONS TO COME ALONG FOR A DAY AT HEADINGLEY WITH YOUR CLUB…

  • This is the opening Test match of the English summer and all the attention is on our wonderful county.
  • Sri Lanka are no pushovers. Remember that tense finale at Headingley last time?
  • An England XI nowadays usually contains at least three Yorkshiremen.
  • You might be watching history. England have approached Sri Lanka to sound them out about trialling the points system – encompassing both Tests, ODIs and T20 that is used in the womens game.
  • It’s a Sunday so you can have your cake (Saturday league cricket) and eat it (Test match the following day).
  • You can dress as a womble, minion or Batman and no-one minds.
  • Did I mention it was only £15 for adults and £5 for juniors?!
