Here on Cricket Yorkshire, we run a selection of cricket awards designed to champion and celebrate those in grassroots cricket. Awards are published here online rather than black tie, tuxedo and ball gowns but those who win are sent prizes and/or a physical trophy.
In 2025, we held the Yorkshire Tea Community Cricket Awards between April and September. This is about amazing acts of service, generosity, kindness and impact.
In addition, we also continued the Cricket Yorkshire Tea of the Year to uncover the best club cricket teas in the region. It is always fiendishly hard to judge and widely talked about – which in turn generates handy publicity for clubs.
