Megan Hodkinson is my latest guest on the Cricket Yorkshire Podcast as we discussed how she got into cricket in the first place, her success with Yorkshire age-groups and a long-term association with Wrenthorpe.
Over this half-hour episode, there’s her approach to captaincy as well as the momentum building within the squad as they push for national honours too.

Wrenhorpe finished top of the Yorkshire Women’s Premier T20 League and qualified for finals day at Ampleforth College on August 22nd.
Wrenthorpe Ladies also became ECB National T20 Club Plate Northern Regional champions after defeating Leigh, from Lancashire.
The path to that point saw them defeat Cottingham (H), St Chads Broomfield (A), Stocksfield Newcastle (A) and now look forward to the national semi-finals of the T20 Plate competition against Thriplow (Cambridgeshire) on July 11th at Denby Cricket Club, Derbyshire.
Alongside representing Yorkshire in T20 action, Megan and her team are competing in the Premier Division of the Yorkshire Women and Girls Cricket League, alongside Sessay, Saxton and Cleckheaton.
